The shortcut drill: test your Mac and Windows keys
Do your hands actually know them?
Ten rounds. Half of them ask for a shortcut on the machine you are sitting at — you press it, and the page is watching. The other half ask what the same job takes on the other side, where you have to recognise it rather than reach for it.
No keyboard here, so every round is four options and a tap. Come back on a real machine and half of them become a test of your fingers.
Some chords belong to the operating system and never reach a web page — ⌘Space, Alt+Tab, Win+L and anything that closes the tab. Those are asked as multiple choice rather than set as a trap.
The table behind the drill is the same one the translator uses, so an answer you disagree with can be checked — and corrected — in one place. Chords the operating system or the browser takes for itself are asked as multiple choice rather than scored against you.
